JOB SUMMARY:
Student Activities at Vincennes University - Jasper Campus is seeking applicants for their everyday staff positions. Positions to be filled are student part-time hourly and work-study positions. Shifts will be a variety of morning, afternoon, and evening, which can be worked around your school schedule.
REPORTING:
- This position will report directly to the Student Success & Engagement Coordinator
GENERAL HOURS:
- Work Study Employee – dependent on Federal Work Study reward
- Part-time Student Employee – 8-10 hrs/week
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Clean and disinfect all equipment
- Work at a variety of different locations in the Ruxer Gym, JCCB Rec Room, ACE, or other event locations on campus
- Assist with set-up or tear down for events
- Enforce all gym and weight room rules, policies and regulations
- Inspect the Ruxer Gym weight room and report unsafe conditions/equipment to the Student Success & Engagement Coordinator
- Become familiar with all gym equipment in the facilities
- Attend and participate in all meetings/training
- Answer any questions from visitors
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or GED – required
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- First Aid, BBP (Bloodborne Pathogens), CPR and AED certification – preferred, but not required
