JOB SUMMARY:
The Student Recreation Center at Vincennes University is seeking applicants for their everyday staff positions. Positions to be filled are student part-time hourly and work-study positions. Shifts will be a variety of morning, afternoon, evening and weekends.
REPORTING:
- This position will report directly to the Director of Campus Recreation and Facilities.
GENERAL HOURS:
- Part-time Employee – 28 hours/week
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Clean and Disinfect all equipment
- Work at a variety of different locations in the Recreation Center or P.E. Complex
- Set-up or tear down for events in a timely manner
- Enforce all Recreation Center rules, policies and regulations
- Inspect the Recreation Center and report unsafe conditions/equipment to the Shift Leader
- Become familiar with all equipment in the facilities
- Refrain from socializing while on the clock
- Attend and participate in all meetings/training
- Answer any questions from patrons
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or GED – required
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- First Aid, BBP (Bloodborne Pathogens), CPR and AED certification – preferred, but not required
