JOB SUMMARY:

The Student Recreation Center at Vincennes University is seeking applicants for their everyday staff positions. Positions to be filled are student part-time hourly and work-study positions. Shifts will be a variety of morning, afternoon, evening and weekends.

REPORTING:

• This position will report directly to the Director of Campus Recreation and Facilities.

GENERAL HOURS:

• Part-time Employee – 28 hours/week

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Clean and Disinfect all equipment

• Work at a variety of different locations in the Recreation Center or P.E. Complex

• Set-up or tear down for events in a timely manner

• Enforce all Recreation Center rules, policies and regulations

• Inspect the Recreation Center and report unsafe conditions/equipment to the Shift Leader

• Become familiar with all equipment in the facilities

• Refrain from socializing while on the clock

• Attend and participate in all meetings/training

• Answer any questions from patrons

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma or GED – required

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:

• First Aid, BBP (Bloodborne Pathogens), CPR and AED certification – preferred, but not required
