About Vince's Mobile Detailing
Vince's Mobile Detailing is a locally owned mobile detailing company based in Chico, CA with 120 five star Google reviews. We come to our customers — their home, their office, wherever their vehicle is — with our own water, power, and equipment. We're expanding into the Redding area and looking for one experienced, reliable detailer to represent our brand in the market.
The Opportunity
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. We provide the customers, the booking system, and the brand. You provide the skills, the reliability, and the work ethic. You set your own schedule and work the jobs that come through our system.
You earn 50% of every completed job, paid every Friday without fail.
This is a straightforward arrangement. We don't micromanage. We don't have pointless meetings. We expect professional quality work on every vehicle and we take care of everything else.
What You'll Be Doing
Performing professional mobile auto detailing services on cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans at customer locations throughout the Redding area. Services include interior detailing, exterior detailing, and full details depending on what the customer has booked. Every job comes through our HouseCall Pro booking system with the customer's information, vehicle details, and service requested already confirmed.
What We're Looking For
Experience matters here. We're not looking to train someone from scratch — we're looking for someone who already knows how to detail a car properly and takes pride in doing it right.
You should have at minimum 1 year of detailing experience — professional or personal. You should know what a proper detail looks like from start to finish. Door jambs cleaned. Glass streak free. Trim conditioned. Interior vacuumed thoroughly including under seats and in crevices. Nothing missed, nothing rushed.
Beyond the technical skill we need someone who shows up on time, communicates clearly, and treats every customer's vehicle like it's their own. Our reputation in Redding depends entirely on the quality of work delivered on every single job.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year detailing experience — professional or personal
- Reliable personal transportation to get to job locations throughout Redding and surrounding areas
- Valid California driver's license
- Own basic detailing supplies — microfibers, applicators, basic chemicals
- Smartphone for managing jobs through HouseCall Pro
- Ability to work independently without supervision
- Professional appearance and communication with customers
Compensation
- 50% of every completed job
- Paid every Friday
- 1099 independent contractor — you are responsible for your own taxes
- Earning potential is directly tied to job volume and quality of work
