Position Summary
Villas on Turtle Creek is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Leasing Consultant to join our growing team. The Leasing Consultant is responsible for creating exceptional first impressions, guiding prospective residents through the leasing process, maintaining strong resident relationships, and helping achieve occupancy goals for our luxury apartment community.
This position requires excellent communication skills, strong sales abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys building relationships with prospects and residents alike.
Weekend availability is required. This position will include working Saturdays.
Essential Responsibilities
Leasing & Sales
- Conduct community tours and showcase apartment homes and amenities.
- Respond promptly to phone, email, text, and online leasing inquiries.
- Convert leads into appointments, tours, and signed leases.\
- Follow up with prospective residents through various communication channels.
- Maintain accurate prospect records within the property management and CRM systems.
- Assist with lease preparation, renewals, and move-in documentation.
- Meet or exceed leasing and occupancy goals.
Customer Service
- Deliver exceptional service to prospective and current residents.
- Build positive relationships with residents and address concerns professionally.
- Assist residents with community information, events, and general inquiries.
- Support resident retention efforts through proactive communication and service.
Marketing & Community Outreach
- Promote the community through outreach marketing and local networking opportunities.
- Assist with resident events and community engagement initiatives.
- Maintain knowledge of local market conditions and competing communities.
- Support social media and online reputation management efforts.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate resident and prospect files.
- Process applications and verify required documentation.
- Assist with move-in and move-out procedures.
- Collect and organize leasing reports and required paperwork.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.
Community Appearance
- Conduct daily inspections of model apartments, clubhouse, amenities, and common areas.
- Ensure tour paths remain clean, organized, and presentation-ready.
- Report maintenance or appearance concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous leasing, sales, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software preferred.
- Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations preferred.
- Reliable transportation required.
Schedule Requirements
- Full-time position.
- Must be available to work during community office hours.
- Saturday work is required.
- Occasional evening hours may be required for resident events, outreach, or special projects.
