We are seeking a proactive and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician with HVAC expertise to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical equipment, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC units, electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, and facilities equipment using schematics, hand tools, and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct repairs involving welding, carpentry, painting, and maintenance painting to uphold the aesthetic standards of the community.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including schematics, maintenance logs, and repair reports.
- Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests with professionalism and a focus on customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential maintenance with a strong background in HVAC system repair and building interior maintenance.
- Proficiency with electrical work, plumbing system maintenance and repair, carpentry, welding, and facilities equipment upkeep.
- Knowledge of schematics for electrical wiring, HVAC systems, plumbing layouts, and mechanical components.
- Ability to operate hand tools, electrical equipment repair tools, welding equipment, and testing devices such as ohmmeters effectively.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), building interior upkeep, and facilities maintenance practices.
- Supervising or leadership experience is preferred; strong communication skills in English are essential for clear documentation and resident interactions.
