Production Scheduler / Programador de Produccion

Primary job duties of our Production Scheduler include coordinating schedules and inventories to ensure efficient and effective operation of Villari Food Group. If you have previous experience as a scheduler in a fast-paced warehouse environment, are a fantastic problem solver and enjoy working closely with others to make small tweaks to processes that make all the difference, apply today!

Job duties:

• Serve as a primary point of contact for and liaison with sales, logistics, and manufacturing departments.

• Collaborate with these departments to establish schedules and plans that allocate available resources to best serve client or customer needs.

• Periodically compare current and anticipated orders with available inventory of raw materials; use judgment to anticipate demand for and to acquire additional supplies as needed.

• Integrate sales orders with master schedule; coordinate availability of raw materials, supplies, equipment, and staff as needed to meet delivery dates.

• Maintain master distribution schedule for the assigned facility; revise and alert appropriate staff of schedule changes or delays.

• Participate in periodic forecasting meetings with sales, marketing, and other related departments; leads additional planning meetings with sales, production, shipping, purchasing, and customer service staff.

To qualify for this job you must have:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Thorough understanding of the business and supply chain.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient with production planning systems, such as MRP II.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3 to 5 years' related experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing and/or processing industry is a plus.
