Working Conditions
Work will be performed both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Employee may be exposed to dust, noise, moving equipment, and temperature changes. Proper PPE must be worn when required.
Position Overview
The Facilities Employee is responsible for supporting the maintenance, cleanliness, and operation of company buildings, grounds, and equipment. This position ensures the facility remains safe, functional, and presentable by performing routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, and general facility support tasks.
Technical Responsibilities
- Perform routine building maintenance and repairs
- Basic plumbing repairs (leaks, clogs, fixture replacement)
- Basic electrical work (lights, outlets, minor troubleshooting)
- HVAC filter changes and basic maintenance
- Painting, drywall repair, and general building repairs
- Maintain and repair doors, locks, and hardware
- Assist with equipment moves and facility setup
- Maintain exterior areas (trash, weeds, organization, general upkeep)
- Operate maintenance tools and equipment safely
- Complete work orders in a timely manner
- Report major repair issues to Facilities Lead
- Assist with preventative maintenance tasks
- Maintain maintenance logs when required

Training / Certification Requirements
- Forklift Certification (Preferred)
- Scissor Lift Certification (Preferred)
- Basic OSHA / Safety Training
- Lockout/Tagout Training
- Minimum 5 years experience required
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Trade school or maintenance experience is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb ladders
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
