Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Caregiver specializing in Infant and Toddler care to join our vibrant team. In this vital role, you will provide nurturing, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care for young children, ensuring their safety, happiness, and growth. Shift- 8am-1pm or 1pm-6pm
Duties
- Provide attentive care to infants and toddlers, including feeding, diapering, bathing, and comforting as needed
- Develop engaging activities that promote early childhood development, including sensory play, storytelling, and age-appropriate learning experiences
- Monitor children’s health and safety at all times, following proper procedures for first aid and emergency response when necessary
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in accordance with childcare standards and regulations
- Collaborate with parents and team members to ensure consistent care routines and developmental progress
- Support classroom management by implementing behavior management strategies that foster positive social interactions
- Document children’s milestones, daily activities, and any concerns to share with families and team members
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with infants and toddlers in daycare, preschool, or nannying roles is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
- Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as special education or working with children with disabilities are a plus
- Strong understanding of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families and team members
- Ability to remain energetic, patient, attentive, and flexible in a dynamic childcare environment
- Demonstrated commitment to providing nurturing care that supports physical, emotional, and cognitive growth
- Must be 18years old
