Part-Time Van Driver – Special Needs Transportation

Village Transportation LLC
Salem, MA Part Time
POSTED ON 10/22/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 2/18/2027

Overview

Village Transportation is a women-owned (WBE Certified) transportation company founded by special needs moms who understand firsthand the importance of safe, reliable, and individualized transportation.

Our motto says it all: Led by Moms, Built on Trust.

This particular position involves picking up students with special needs from three public schools in Salem, MA (Monday thru Friday) and safely transporting them to their after-school program.

We are looking for someone who is patient, reliable, personable and genuinely enjoys working with children of all abilities.

A Massachusetts 7D School Pupil Transport Certificate is a plus, but NOT required! Village Transportation will cover the cost of your 7D training, certification, and exam.

We're looking to hire ASAP! The next 7D training class is scheduled for Tuesday, October 27th, at 4PM at the Cummings Center in Beverly, MA. Ideally, we'd love to hire someone within the next few days so we can register them for this upcoming class and get them started on the certification process!

If you've been interested in becoming a school van driver but don't have your 7D certification yet, this is a great opportunity to get started with all training and certification costs covered by Village Transportation!
