Village Tavern Salem is looking for a Bartender with 2 years of experience. Bartenders at Village Tavern Salem will consistently provide an excellent guest drinking experience and create classic and innovative drinks that exceed customers’ needs and expectations.
Job Duties:
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations

REQUIREMENTS
- 2 years of experience
- Customer service oriented
- TIPs certified and allergen awareness certificate
- POS experience
- Bar knowledge considered an asset
- Craft beer, liquor and wine knowledge
- TEAMWORK and a GREAT attitude are required!
- Must have flexible availability – Weekends & Holidays required
- Ability to keep work area clean, organized and to code
- Previous high volume experience preferred
