We are seeking an energetic and motivated Door-to-Door Canvasser to join our dynamic team working for a friendly family owned neighborhood roofer! In this role, you will be the face of our organization, engaging with communities directly to promote our services and initiatives. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your sales, marketing, and customer service skills while making a meaningful impact in local neighborhoods. Experience preferred but not required. This is a company you can grow with while working with a supportive, experienced team.

Duties

• Engage with residents and business owners through friendly, professional door-to-door canvassing to introduce our programs and services
• Clearly communicate the benefits of our offerings, addressing questions and providing detailed information
• Identify potential leads and gather relevant contact information for follow-up or further engagement
• Utilize effective negotiation techniques to encourage participation or support for our initiatives
• Maintain accurate records of interactions, outcomes, and follow-up actions in designated tracking systems
• Collaborate with team members to strategize outreach plans and share insights from community interactions
• Uphold safety protocols and respectful communication standards during all canvassing activities

Requirements

• Strong background in marketing, sales, customer service, or telemarketing appreciated
• Bilingual abilities are highly valued to effectively communicate with diverse communities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen actively and convey information clearly
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation and persuasion to engage potential supporters or clients
• Experience in door-to-door canvassing or field sales is advantageous but not required
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable vehicle
