Vehicle Acquisition Specialist

Village Pointe Toyota is looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and purchasing vehicles to support company inventory and operational needs. The ideal candidate has strong negotiation skills, market awareness, and the ability to build lasting vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Source vehicles through dealerships, private sellers, and fleet partners

Research market trends, pricing guides, and vehicle values

Negotiate purchase prices and terms with sellers

Inspect vehicles or coordinate inspections to ensure quality standards

Manage acquisition documentation, titles, and compliance requirements

Maintain accurate inventory records and acquisition reports

Monitor competitor inventory and pricing strategies

Qualifications

2 years of experience in automotive purchasing, sales, or fleet management

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Knowledge of vehicle valuation tools and automotive market trends

Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Valid driver’s license required

Preferred Skills

Experience with auto auctions (in-person and online platforms)

Familiarity with title processing and vehicle compliance regulations

Proficiency in inventory management systems or CRM software
