About the Regional Manager Role
Village Podiatry is looking for a Regional Manager to lead our clinic operations across the Georgia region, including managing existing operations and helping to transition and lead new operations as we expand rapidly. The Regional Manager is a fast-paced operations role with demands from multiple constituents: corporate personnel, physicians, and clinic departments. To be successful at this position, you need strong leadership and management skills to lead clinic staff with interpersonal and relationship-building skills to manage physicians. You will work collaboratively with regional directors and clinic leads to solve various day-to-day operational issues. In addition to the tactical components of this position, the Regional Manager will help with the strategic integration of new practices and help support the business development team. As part of integrations and ongoing operations, the ideal candidate can manage the day-to-day business while also thinking about more efficient processes and consistent systems across our enterprise as we look to perfect our product offering in the market. Village Podiatry is looking for strong performers who are comfortable in a fast-paced environment, who can handle tasks both big and small, and who can work with a diversity of stakeholders well. Regional Manager Responsibilities
- Clinic Management: you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of 8-10 Podiatry clinics, which entails monitoring issues as they arise throughout the day and solving some issues personally, delegating some to others and working with the regional team to collaboratively solve others. You must always be responsive to clinic needs and make decisions quickly at times. You must ensure proper staffing and adequate training.
- Reports and Meetings: you will be responsible for creating some reports and working with central data analysts for others. A cornerstone of Village Podiatry’s clinic operations is regular data reporting and daily, weekly, and monthly meetings to react, discuss and solve around trends. You will lead huddles as needed and ensure they happen at clinics when not being led personally.
- Clinic Leadership: this role requires someone who can command the respect of clinics with extended work histories together and can lead physicians with different backgrounds and levels of experience working in larger professional organizations.
- Physician Management: you will be responsible for knowing the pulse of each of your assigned clinics both directly or indirectly, also knowing how each physician’s habits, effectiveness and anticipating potential issues.
- Financial Responsibility: you will help set targets and understand leading and lagging indicators towards those goals.
- Transitions: you will need to work cross-functionally with our strategic growth team to drive a successful transition process for new acquisitions.
- Systems and Processes: we want Village Podiatry’s clinics to have consistent operations and expect this person to work with the corporate team to flag and solve inconsistencies or opportunities for improvement.
- Travel: Regionally, overnight trips a few times per year.
