External Marketer – Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation

Village Place Health and Rehab is seeking an experienced External Marketer to join our team and help grow our referral network and census.
We are looking for a results-driven healthcare marketer with established relationships within the local healthcare community — particularly hospitals, hospital case management teams, discharge planners, physicians, assisted living communities, home health agencies, and other referral sources.
The ideal candidate will already have a strong understanding of the local healthcare market and be comfortable developing and maintaining relationships that generate qualified referrals to our skilled nursing and rehabilitation center.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with local hospitals, case managers, discharge planners, physicians, and other healthcare referral sources
- Identify and develop new referral opportunities throughout the community
- Conduct regular hospital and community visits to build and strengthen referral relationships
- Represent Village Place Health and Rehab professionally at healthcare and community events
- Educate referral partners about our skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and clinical services
- Follow up consistently with referral sources and potential admissions
- Monitor referral activity and identify opportunities for census growth
- Collaborate closely with the Admissions and leadership teams to support successful admissions
- Maintain accurate records of marketing activities, contacts, and referral opportunities
- Help develop and execute strategies to increase occupancy and strengthen the facility's reputation within the local healthcare community
Qualifications
- Previous healthcare marketing experience required
- Experience marketing for a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, hospital, home health agency, hospice, or senior healthcare organization strongly preferred
- Established relationships with local hospitals and healthcare referral sources strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to generate referrals and contribute to census growth
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Professional, outgoing, and self-motivated
- Strong follow-up and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Background Screening Requirement
This position is subject to Level 2 background screening pursuant to Florida law.
