Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and maintain high standards of hygiene.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Utilize Aloha POS and OpenTable systems for order processing and table management.
- Stay informed about daily specials, menu changes, and culinary offerings.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred.
- Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively.
- Excellent guest relations skills, demonstrating a commitment to customer service.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is essential.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
