What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dough Maker (18+) position at Village Pizza?
We are currently looking for a Dough Maker/Team Member that will complement our busy kitchen. The ideal candidate will have some bakery / pizza experience with a progression of responsibilities or leadership. Because of the machinery used the applicant must be 18 .
Duties:
- Responsible for scaling, mixing, forming, sheeting and saucing pizzas
- Keeping accurate track of daily dough record
- Maintain cleanliness of all work areas throughout shift
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Work in a safe manner at all times
Other Duties:
- Greet customers / answer phones
- Enter orders and complete customer transactions within the POS system
- Miscellaneous prep / portioning / cooking
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Welcoming, personable, friendly, and enthusiastic about customer service
- Willingness to learn
- Works well in a busy environment
**Previous experience in a food production/bakery setting preferred
Schedule is Wednesday-Sunday, thus you must be able to work weekends.
