Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and documenting medical histories.
- Administration of pediatric vaccinations.
- Providing nursing triage and advice via the patient portal and the telephone.
- Provide medical administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling insurance information.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care plans and provide excellent patient service to enhance their experience.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care and follow-up.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Pediatric Nurse is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and colleagues alike.
