This role requires a strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes, data collection, and heavy equipment operation.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain wastewater treatment systems to ensure efficient and compliant operations.
- Perform routine inspections and monitor equipment performance, including distributed control systems and logic controllers.
- Collect and analyze data related to water quality and treatment processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of operations, maintenance activities, and compliance reports.
- Operate heavy equipment as needed for maintenance tasks, including tankers for transporting materials.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal performance of the facility.
- Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in wastewater treatment or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems and water treatment processes is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Experience with distributed control systems and logic controllers is a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if necessary.
- Class 2 wastewater license necessary
