What are the responsibilities and job description for the LABORER WATER SEWER DEPARTMENT position at VILLAGE OF POWHATAN POINT?
POSITION DESCRIPTION: The laborer will be responsible for assist in quarterly meter reading, monthly business meter reading, available for emergency call out situations and other overtime, operate all mobile equipment and heavy equipment, lift 50-75 pounds, maintain monthly plant schedule, work safely in enclosed spaces, trenches, manholes, and all other confined spaces, repair meters and perform routine work as scheduled by the water and sewer department and other duties assigned by the Board of Public Affairs. QUALIFICATIONS: Must be 18 years of age, pass a drug, physical and background check. Must lift 50-75 pounds.
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a valid driver’s license.
SALARY: $21.35
