Village Administrator – Part Time– Village of Newburg, WI(Population 1,142)The Village of Newburg is seeking a part time, one to two days per week, Village Administrator who is dedicated, innovative and community-focused to lead this vibrant and growing community. The Village of Newburg is nestled between Washington and Ozaukee Counties in southeastern Wisconsin. Our proud small-town, river-side community of 1,142 residents, welcomes you to visit the Milwaukee River, to recreate in our parks, and to get to know the neighbors at our community center and local restaurants and taverns.Newburg prides itself in being a great community to live, work, and play. Salary based on experience. The Village President and six Village Trustees are elected on a non-partisan basis, serving 2-year terms. $1.8M total budget including general operating, debt service and Sewer Utility. Future emphasis on housing, budgeting, coordinating projects and economic development/redevelopment.Require Bachelor’s degree in public administration or related field; prefer Master’s Degree with at least 3 years of progressive municipal management experience. Residency is not required. The Village desires a candidate with a strong background in budget development, personnel management and community planning and engagement experience; and a leader with organizational change and development experience.
