We utilize a 2-2-3 schedule with shift changes happening at 5am and 5pm. Permanent day or night shift is currently available.
Daily activities consist of; conducting traffic enforcement/patrol activities, security checks around the Village, answering calls for service and being visible to deter potential crime. In addition, we also provide security services for Pfeiffer University, which offers free college tuition to officers and their immediate family members, and also house Gray Stone Day School in our jurisdiction.
We are looking for officers that will promote a safe environment and abide by our community-oriented policing philosophy.
