Duties
- Conduct regular patrols of the assigned area using Department-provided vehicles and equipment.
- Enforce Local and State codes.
- Ensure positive Community Relations and outreach.
Requirements
- O.P.O.T.C PEACE OFFICER CERTIFICATION REQUIRED (OR CURRENT ENROLLMENT IN ACTIVE ACCADEMY)
- Proven experience or training in law enforcement, security operations, or military service is highly desirable.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; the ability to respond swiftly during medical emergencies is essential.
- Familiarity with surveillance technology, such as CCTV systems, and experience in de-escalation strategies.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations tactfully.
- Ability to remain alert during long shifts while maintaining focus on surroundings.
