We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Public Works Worker to support the maintenance and operation of municipal infrastructure. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on public infrastructure, including roads, sidewalks, parks, and public buildings.
- Operate various tools and equipment necessary for construction, repair, and maintenance activities.
- Conduct inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report findings accordingly.
- Support snow removal, landscaping, trash collection, and other community service functions as required.
- Ensure work areas are kept clean and safe following established safety protocols.
- Respond promptly to public inquiries or service requests related to municipal facilities or infrastructure.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant technical training or certifications are a plus.
- Ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is preferred; ability to operate municipal vehicles is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour
