Duties
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly to maintain cleanliness standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning
- Support the catering and banquet teams with setup, breakdown, and food handling during events
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing work areas regularly
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed in compliance with health regulations
- Buss tables and clear dining areas efficiently during service hours
- Support the culinary team with general kitchen organization and inventory management when needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments preferred but not required
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues
- Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation is a plus
- Experience with catering or banquet service is advantageous but not mandatory
- Willingness to learn new skills related to food prep and kitchen operations
