Sales Associate

Overview

Village Jewelers is growing our family and looking for a passionate, career-minded sales associate to join us. This full- time role features a schedule of Tuesdays through Saturdays from 9:30 am to 5 pm. In this dynamic role, you will manage front- desk reception tasks, welcome guests into our showroom, handle delicate repair intake, and collaborate closely with clients and team members on custom jewelry design. Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance to meet their needs
• Process transactions efficiently
• Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure the store environment is welcoming
• Handle data entry tasks related to sales, inventory, repair intake and customer information with precision
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
• Support store operations through basic math calculations for transactions and discounts
• Work well in a team environment

Experience

• Prior experience in retail sales or a retail store environment is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with retail math, cash handling, and cashiering
• Ability to process cash transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
• Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor
