Job Summary
Want to make THE BEST PIZZA IN HOLLAND? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Worker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation and kitchen operations, ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment while supporting the overall efficiency of meal service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring food items.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, mixers, and ovens.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling and storage of food items.
• Support cooks and chefs in meal preparation and plating for service.
• Assist with catering events as needed, ensuring timely delivery of meals.
• Participate in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management when stock is low.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Basic culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn new skills related to cooking and food handling.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
