Lead Montessori Teacher, Primary Classroom (3-6)
Our school is located in the heart of downtown Libertyville across from Cook Park. We offer a cozy and inviting school atmosphere for children ages two through six. Position Available: Full Time Lead Montessori Teacher:
-Immediate Hire or Beginning Summer or Fall of 2026.
-Monday-Friday 8 Hour Shift; Academic Calendar & six weeks Summer Camp

Position Details:
The person who fills this position must demonstrate a strong commitment to the respect and care of children. Teachers at our school are entrusted with important responsibilities, and must be dedicated to serving children in all aspects of learning and development.
Responsibilities for the position include:
- preparing and adapting the environment according to the needs of the children
- maintaining the order, cleanliness, and attractiveness of the environment
- assessing and recording children’s progress
- communicating positively and openly with parents regarding their child’s progress, development, and behavior both during parent conferences and on an ongoing basis throughout the school year
- attending monthly staff meetings and occasional school events outside of regular hours.
The ideal candidate will:
- have current AMS certification
- possess strong organizational skills
- be flexible and adaptable
- enjoy a cooperative working environment • have a great sense of humor
