Position Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented floral designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for floral design and a keen eye for detail, creating beautiful arrangements for various occasions.
Responsibilities
- Design and create floral arrangements using fresh flowers.
- Consult with clients to determine their preferences and specifications for custom arrangements.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the floral shop.
- Advise customers on the care and maintenance of their floral arrangements.
- Participate in exhibitions and events to attract new customers.
- Process payments and manage customer orders efficiently.
- Other duties as assigned
Experience
Must have prior experience in floral design and a strong knowledge of different flower types, arrangement styles, and flower conditioning.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with customers and other staff
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using floral design tools and software.
- Must be creative and have artistic ability.

Other Information
- Wage depends upon prior experience
- Floral designer hours to be within: Monday-Friday 8 am-6 pm; Saturday 9:30 am-3:30 pm
- Expected hours: 20-25 per week
