Village Green Charter School (VGCS) is seeking a passionate and innovative English Language Arts teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. VGCS is an ideal environment for educators who value personalized learning, strong student relationships, and small-group instruction.

Responsibilities for ELA Teachers Include:
- Create a positive, structured, and achievement-oriented learning environment that engages and motivates students.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the HMH curriculum and provide supplemental instructional supports as needed.
- Integrate SAT-aligned instructional strategies, analytical reading, writing, and test-preparation skills into daily instruction.
- Use clear and effective oral and written communication.
- Build strong partnerships with families to support students’ academic and personal growth.
- Utilize assessment and student performance data to personalize instruction and drive learning.
- Collaborate with the ELA department to develop and implement lesson plans and instructional strategies.
- Maintain an organized lesson plan binder.
