Compensation: $70,000 - $90,000 annually, based on skills and experience. Annual bonus program eligibility.
We’re looking for a Master Planner to lead demand planning, production scheduling, and inventory optimization for the business. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you’ll connect sales demand to operational execution—ensuring the right products are made at the right time while minimizing waste and excess.

Demand Planning & Forecasting
- Build short- and long-term demand forecasts using historical data, trends, and sales inputs
- Identify seasonality, risks, and demand shifts—and communicate impacts proactively
- Partner with Sales and Customer Service to validate forecasts and promotions
- Support S&OP and forecast accuracy targets
Master Production Scheduling
- Create weekly and daily production schedules aligned with capacity, labor, and materials
- Optimize line efficiency and changeovers
- Adjust schedules in real time for downtime, quality holds, or urgent orders
- Clearly communicate priorities and changes to Operations
Inventory & Excess Management
- Maintain optimal finished goods and WIP inventory levels
- Monitor aging, excess, and slow-moving SKUs
- Drive waste reduction and inventory optimization initiatives
- Track and report key inventory KPIs
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the planning bridge between Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Logistics
- Participate in daily and weekly operations meetings
- Support new product launches with planning and readiness inputs
Data, Tools & Reporting
- Build and maintain planning tools and dashboards (advanced Excel required)
- Analyze forecast accuracy, schedule adherence, and service levels
- Ensure ERP/MRP data integrity
- Deliver clear, actionable insights to leadership
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field
- 3 years of experience in production planning, master scheduling, or demand planning
- Experience in food manufacturing, CPG, or perishable goods strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, modeling)
- ERP/MRP system experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work onsite in Wilkes-Barre, PA
Preferred Qualifications
- APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP)
- Experience reducing excess and obsolete inventory
- Knowledge of capacity planning, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement
- Experience with forecasting or advanced planning systems
- Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM (or as designated by facility leadership)
- Overtime as needed based on production demands
- On-site role at Three Little Pigs Facility (House of Bricks): 625 S Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA
