What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dog Daycare/Kennel-FT and PT Openings position at Village Gate Animal Hospital & Pet Resort?
You will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of animals at our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Handle general care tasks such as feeding, walking, bathing and cleaning up after animals
- Monitor dog daycare in a safe and engaging atmosphere for the participants
- Keep records of animal feedings, treatments, and other updates
- Engage in play activities and exercise with the animals
- Maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in animal care preferred (but not required)
- Passion to help and treat animals
- Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
- Ability to follow established training guidelines on a daily basis
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Village Gate Animal Hospital & Pet Resort (in Grandview Heights area of Columbus Ohio) focuses on developing client relationships through transparency and education.
