Job Summary
The Animal Caretaker plays a crucial role in the daily care and management of animals, ensuring their health, safety, and well-being. You will be trained to properly handle and care for a wide variety of species including insects, tarantulas, reptiles, amphibians, and other invertebrates. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing high-quality care to animals and maintaining a clean and safe environment for the animals.
Duties
- Provide daily care for animals (feeding, climate maintenance, handling, etc.)
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of animal enclosures and facilities
- Maintain care records
- Engage in moderate lifting (<20lbs) tasks
- Handle and acclimate animals
