Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated Thrift Store Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with all shoppers in a friendly and helpful manner
- Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards
- Cross-train and work in various departments as needed
- Accurately operate a cash register and point-of-sale system, including handling payments and giving correct change
- Promote our Rewards Program, Flash Sales, and Daily Deals to customers
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to store guidelines
- Support store recovery efforts throughout the day to ensure a clean and organized environment
- Assist with general store cleanliness and organization
- Maintain awareness of safety procedures and help ensure a safe shopping environment
Requirements:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-changing environment
- Willingness to work collaboratively with team members and store leadership
Job Type: Part-time
