We are hiring! Come join one of the best teams in The Villages. We are in need of a Sterilization Technician to begin work immediately. This position is intended to be entry level with room to grow your dental career. No experience is necessary. A hard work ethic, great morals, and excellent people skills are a must.
Qualifications:
· Ability to understand and interpret OSHA rules and regulations regarding sterilization procedures, and infection control
· Ability to enter and verify information with accuracy
· Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
· Proactive, punctual and reliable
· Ability to communicate effectively with others
· Ability to work cooperatively with colleagues and supervisory staff at all levels
Responsibilities:
· Maintains infection control areas to ensure compliance with OSHA and state regulations
· Maintains sterilization supplies to ensure availability of instruments for students and faculty
· Dispenses and collects supplies and equipment to ensure operational efficiency
· Collects data and maintains reports to ensure proper infection control standards are met
· Performs other duties as assigned
· Marginal Job Functions: Assists other areas with special projects
· May be exposed to short, intermittent, and/or prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing in performance of job duties
