Wellness Nurse LPN or RN

Our newest Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care Community, Village Concepts of Lake Stevens, is seeking a Wellness Nurse to join our team.

Under the direction of the Resident Care Director, the Wellness Nurse will support the overall needs of the Wellness Department to ensure that Village Concepts operational and cultural standards are maintained.

Schedule

• Full-Time, Tuesday–Saturday, 9AM – 5PM

Pay & Benefits

• $38–$42 per hour, DOE
• Compensation is based on experience, skills, and qualifications

General Qualifications

• Current Washington State LPN or RN license in good standing
• Genuine passion for serving seniors and supporting the operations staff
• Great Communicator & ability to serve as a Community and Company Ambassador and represent Village Concepts with the highest degree of integrity.
• Ability to work in a team setting as well as function independently
• Ability to consistently exercise a high level of good judgment and both collaborative and independent decision-making ability in all aspects of the Wellness Department.
• Comfortable with both hands-on support of Wellness Department as well as with critical administrative Nursing functions.

General Responsibilities

• Supports all aspects of the Medication Administration Program
• Support initial and on-going staff training Provides direct Nursing care and clinical support to residents.
• Complete resident assessments and monitor changes in health condition
• Coordinate, review, and update resident service plans
• Investigate and document findings and prevention plan for resident falls and Unusual Occurrences.
• Maintain ongoing highly effective communication with the resident, resident’s family, and physician regarding the resident’s medical, physical, and emotional needs
• Promote a safe, compassionate, and resident-focused environment
• May be called to serve as Manager on Duty of the Community in the absence of the Resident Care Director.
