What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dining/ Culinary Services Director position at Village Concepts?
Village Concepts of Gig Harbor, Sound Vista Village is currently hiring a Dining/Culinary Services Director who shares our passion for creating exceptional dining experiences for seniors. This leadership role is responsible for maintaining high-quality dining services while managing the daily operations of the kitchen and dining staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of meal planning, food preparation, service, and sanitation
- Manage food, supplies, and labor budgets effectively
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate records and monitor inventory, ensuring proper rotation of food products
- Participate in cooking duties 4 days per week
- Hire, schedule, train, and evaluate dining services staff
- Conduct regular meetings with residents and their families to ensure satisfaction and address concerns
Qualifications:
- Energetic, passionate and kind team player
- Highly motivated and enjoys meeting measurable goals
- Must be 18 or older and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass a DSHS background check
- Comfortable using computers and basic software
- Strong leadership, communication, and senior living experience

- Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 8:30am-5pm
