Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. Duties
- Perform various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address client-specific concerns.
- Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on individual health conditions and goals.
- Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and occupational health to deliver safe and effective massage therapy sessions.
- Educate clients on pain management strategies and recommend self-care practices for continued wellness.
- Maintain detailed records of treatments provided, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with medical standards.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of treatment areas in accordance with health regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions, ensuring comfort, and fostering a relaxing atmosphere.
- Stay updated on the latest techniques and industry standards through ongoing professional development.
Experience
- Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on therapeutic massage techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy.
- Prior experience working in a medical spa or occupational health setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of pain management strategies and client assessment procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
