At Village Caregiving, we help seniors stay independent in the comfort of their own homes. We focus on personal, heart-first care, treating every client like family while supporting our care team with the respect, scheduling, and resources they need.
We are looking for reliable, compassionate caregivers to join our team. In this role, you will help local seniors and individuals with disabilities handle day-to-day tasks so they can live safely at home.
This is a non-medical role centered on personal assistance, light housekeeping, and everyday companionship. It does not include medical responsibilities such as giving medications, dressing wounds, or administering injections.
Key Responsibilities
Personal Care: Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and basic hygiene while respecting client privacy and dignity.
Mobility: Help clients sit, stand, walk, and transfer safely around the home to prevent falls.
Household Help: Cook healthy meals, handle light housekeeping like laundry and dishes, and keep living areas tidy.
Companionship: Talk with clients, share hobbies, and provide meaningful social connection.
Errands: Help with grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, and driving to local appointments.
Observation: Keep basic records of care provided and let supervisors know if you notice changes in a client's health or behavior.
What We Are Looking For: A patient, practical, and caring attitude. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Caregiving, HHA, or CNA experience is a plus, but not required. We offer paid training for the right person. Valid driver's license, reliable personal vehicle, and active car insurance. Ability to pass standard background checks and drug screening.
