Key Responsibilities
- Review and Validate Loan Applications: Conduct initial reviews of loan files to ensure all required documents (e.g., credit reports, income verification, disclosures) are present, complete, and meet lender guidelines.
- Enter and Verify Data in Loan Origination System (LOS): Accurately input borrower and loan information into the LOS (e.g., Encompass), ensuring consistency between submitted documents and system records.
- Order Third-Party Services: Initiate and track essential services such as credit reports, title work, appraisals, fraud checks, and verifications of employment or assets.
- Identify and Flag Incomplete or Missing Documentation: Communicate with loan officers, processors, or brokers to resolve documentation issues before moving the file to processing or underwriting.
- Ensure Compliance with Regulatory and Internal Guidelines: Review disclosures and documentation to confirm adherence to TRID, RESPA, and company-specific procedures during the initial loan setup phase.
- Proven experience with problem-solving skills and attention to detail
