- Process incoming payoff requests accurately and promptly
- Maintain daily logs and documentation for all payoff activities
- Review and verify payoff documents for accuracy and completeness
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding payoff requests
- Ensure all payoff processes comply with CFPB guidelines
- Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficiency in Windows; Encompass experience preferred
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
- Strong analytical skills to review loan documents and validate payoff figures
- Solid understanding of mortgage servicing regulations, including CFPB and FCRA requirements
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
- Proven accuracy in data entry, documentation, and financial calculations
- Effective collaboration skills to work with internal teams and resolve payoff discrepancies
