The Village Beach Club is a one-of-a-kind, oceanfront destination in Nags Head designed to become the social and experiential anchor of the Outer Banks.

The Role: Lead Bar Manager & Mixologist

We are seeking a rare individual—someone who views bartending as both a craft and a lifelong profession.

This role is for a true student and innovator of the bar:

someone who respects the classics, understands the science, and pushes the boundaries of what a modern beverage program can be.

You will lead the bar program at Village Beach Club from the ground up.

What You Will Own:

Full creation and evolution of the cocktail program

Development of highly sellable, memorable drink menus

Execution of classic cocktails at an exceptional level

Innovation with seasonal, coastal, and experiential offerings

Bar team hiring, training, and culture building

Cost controls, inventory, and profitability of the bar

Integration of beverage into events, entertainment, and overall guest experience

Who You Are

A craft-driven bartender with deep knowledge of classic cocktails

Passionate about the art and science of mixology

Constantly studying trends and pushing creative boundaries

A trendsetter, not a follower

Experienced in high-volume, high-quality environments

Strong operator who understands P&L, margins, and cost control

A natural leader who can build and inspire a team

Energized by the opportunity to create something from the ground up

Someone who takes pride in building a program that people talk about
