Itinerary Planning Manager (Remote)
Villa Vie Residences is redefining residential cruising, offering a continuous global voyage experience aboard our flagship vessel. We are building a world-class team to support our growing operations and are seeking an experienced Itinerary Planning Manager to help shape our global deployment strategy.
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced maritime planner to lead the development of long-range itineraries and voyage deployment strategies.
This role is critical in designing commercially attractive, operationally feasible global routes while supporting long-term planning for our fleet.
You will work closely with the Director of Port Operations & Environmental Compliance to develop and refine itineraries aligned with company strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain 3–5 year rolling itineraries
- Design global deployment plans aligned with seasons and demand
- Optimize voyage routing, sea days, and turnaround timing
- Coordinate with Port Operations on feasibility and restrictions
- Develop alternative routing for disruptions or unavailable ports
- Support fuel-efficient routing and distance planning
- Monitor competitor deployment trends and destination opportunities
- Prepare itinerary options with clear operational and commercial trade-offs
- Maintain master deployment calendars and planning tools
Requirements (Must Have)
- 3–5 years experience in:
- Cruise deployment / itinerary planning
- Marine operations planning
- Ship navigation (Deck Officer / 2nd Officer level or similar)
- Proven experience building multi-port voyage itineraries
- Strong understanding of:
- Voyage routing, distance, and speed
- Port feasibility (draft, berth, LOA, tides)
- Global deployment and seasonal planning
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Strongly Preferred
- Background in:
- Cruise line deployment teams
- Passenger shipping or maritime planning
- Experience with tools like Netpas / distance tables
- Understanding of:
- Fuel optimization
- Cabotage basics
- International port operations
Important Note
This is a specialized maritime role.
We are specifically looking for candidates with hands-on cruise or maritime itinerary planning experience.
General travel planning or administrative experience alone will not be considered.

Compensation
