Lead Bartender
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Bartender to lead our beverage program and daily bar operations at a high-volume fine dining restaurant. This is a hands-on management role for someone who thrives behind the bar, leads by example, and takes pride in hospitality, organization, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable crafting cocktails during service, opening and closing the restaurant, and managing inventory, ordering, and staff accountability.
Responsibilities
● Manage all day-to-day bar operations
● Work scheduled shifts behind the bar, including nights, weekends, and holidays
● Open and close the restaurant according to company procedures
● Co-manage liquor, beer, and wine inventory
● Place orders and maintain vendor relationships
● Monitor product usage, waste, and pour costs
● Train, mentor, and supervise bartenders and bar support staff
● Ensure exceptional guest service and uphold fine dining standards
● Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations
● Collaborate with ownership and management on cocktail menus, specials, and beverage programming
Qualifications
● 3 years of bar management experience in an upscale or fine dining environment
● Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, and service standards
● Experience with inventory systems, ordering, and cost control
● Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment
● Strong communication and organizational skills
● Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
