Villa Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced, energetic, and results-driven General Manager to lead operations at our Villa Fresh Italian Kitchen location inside the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York City.
As General Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of restaurant operations, including team leadership, guest experience, financial performance, food safety, and staffing. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about developing teams and delivering exceptional guest service.
What You'll Do

Lead and develop a team of managers, supervisors, and hourly team members

Drive sales growth while maintaining labor and food cost targets

Ensure outstanding guest service and a positive dining experience

Recruit, train, coach, and retain top talent

Maintain compliance with all company policies, food safety, and health department standards

Monitor inventory, ordering, and waste controls

Create and manage schedules to support business needs

Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence

Analyze financial reports and implement action plans to improve performance

Ensure the restaurant is always guest-ready and operating efficiently
What We're Looking For

3 years of restaurant General Manager experience
-
High-volume restaurant, quick-service, fast casual, airport, travel plaza, or food service management experience preferred

Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills

Proven ability to drive sales and manage profitability

Experience with staffing, scheduling, employee relations, and performance management

Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays as business needs require

Food Safety Certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
