Accounting Clerk
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. Key Responsibilities:
- Process and record financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Reconcile invoices, statements, and accounts to ensure accuracy
- Maintain and update financial records and files
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare basic financial reports as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing and payment discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience as an accounting clerk or in a similar role
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent numerical and analytical abilities
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
