WHAT DOES A LUXURY ACCESSORIES AND LIGHTING DESIGNER DO?

In the Luxury Accessories and Lighting Designer role at VillaHouse, you will be at the forefront of designing exquisite home accessories, lighting, mirrors, and other small goods that embody our luxury brand. Your responsibilities will involve researching and developing innovative concepts that capture the essence of sophistication, while ensuring alignment with production requirements through the use of CAD software. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field, coupled with a portfolio that showcases your design process and aesthetic sensibility, will set you up for success in this role.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• Complex understanding of CAD
• Deep knowledge of production phases and a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to understand criticism and adjust design accordingly.

• Understanding of history of furniture and current design trends.
• Ability to understand and ensure design feasibility.
• Prepare detailed specifications for all products including materials and manufacturing methods.
• Work closely with factory partners to prioritize cost effective approach.
• BA or MA in Industrial Design, Product Design or related field. Must present a portfolio showcasing design process and aesthetic sensibility.
