Villa at Traverse Point is seeking a Clinical Liaison to join their team! The Clinical Liaison establishes patients’ eligibility for care, communicate with families, and interact with a wide range of staff members. As a licensed professional the Clinical Liaison coordinates with admission coordinators, case managers, and physicians to ensure the highest level of care.

Clinical Liaison Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identifies, contacts, and manages potential clients.
- Provides a smooth transition for incoming guests, troubleshooting, and patient advocacy.
- Facilitates communication between healthcare providers, patients, and their families.
- Assesses and review medical records in order to determine eligibility.
- Assists patients and families through the admissions and referral process.
- Communicates with case managers and physicians, manage insurance precertification, provide marketing to healthcare providers, and relations management.
- Adheres to Compliance and Ethics standards, striving to maintain compliance in all areas including, but not limited to HIPAA, Confidentiality, Financials and Clinical practice.
- All other duties, as assigned.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to convey information accurately to both internal and external parties.
- Broad medical competency and understanding of insurance practices.
- Basic-advanced computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications.
- Travel: Up to 10%.
- Associate’s degree in nursing or therapy required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, healthcare administration, nursing, or related field strongly preferred.
- Clinical License preferred; Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN), Respiratory Therapist (RT). (See Hospital Liaision for non-clinical professionals.)
- Minimum of two years of former healthcare sales experience strongly preferred
- Extensive healthcare sales work experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor’s degree.
- Former sales training preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, extended sitting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, ability to distinguish smells and temperatures, all with or without the aid of mechanical devices is required.
