Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service and crafting delicious beverages for our customers. If you have a passion for coffee, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have excellent customer service skills, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and accurately input them into the cash register or POS system
- Operate and maintain coffee brewing equipment, espresso machines, and other tools
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, addressing any questions or concerns
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with cash register operations and basic retail math skills
- Experience using point-of-sale systems is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
