Villa At the Park is seeking a Unit Clerk to join their team! The Unit Clerk provides administrative support to ensure efficient operation in one unit of a facility, including moving paperwork, writing/preparing reports, reviewing incoming correspondence, conducting research, providing clerical support services, and other duties as assigned.

Unit Clerk Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides information by answering questions and requests. 
  • Maintains supplies inventory. 
  • Reviews patient records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Manages discharge documents and other patient-related paperwork.
  • Processes heavy phone and email traffic. 
  • Produces and distributes correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms. 
  • Develops and maintains an efficient filing system. 
  • All other duties as assigned. 

Unit Clerk Skills and Abilities:

  • Basic-advanced computer knowledge and ability with an aptitude to learn company applications. 
  • Strong spelling and grammar skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work, multi-task, and have strong attention to detail.
  • Intermediate typing skills.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities. 

Unit Clerk Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. 
  • 1-2 years working in a corporate, business, or office environment in a similar role. 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, extended sitting, grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling, ability to distinguish smells and temperatures, all with or without the aid of mechanical devices is required. 
  • Limited potential for exposure to environmental hazards. Understanding and adherence to company safety standards and protocols required.
