Job Summary

Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using TOAST POS systems, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation meets quality standards.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food handling and preparation when needed.
- Support guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns swiftly, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and adherence to food safety protocols.
- Uphold sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations, including proper food handling and cleanliness practices.
- Engage in basic math calculations for bills and tips to ensure accuracy.
- Provide excellent guest services in various settings including fine dining venues or lively nightclubs, adapting to different atmospheres seamlessly.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience or food service background preferred; experience in fine dining or nightlife environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and cashiering.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and warmly.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining guest satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy.
- Experience in serving in a sports bar or high-energy hospitality setting is advantageous.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
